My girlfriend uses 3-4 in her wine glass when she takes a bath.
She has even dropped a few in a beer glass. I generally don't let drinks sit around long enough to notice a difference.
I like being able to drop in dishwasher. |

The soapstones are a very unique product. We use them to keep white wine cold and to chill red wine if it is a little warm. Very easy to use, just drop them in and your good to go. Just rinse and toss on the drying rack then to the freezer for next time. I think they would be a great gift too. |

I bought these for my husband & he tried them & didn't like them, so I said I would use them for my drinks. They now decorate a flower pot. Most reviewers state they add a cube of ice or use small glasses with little amount of liquid. That's because these are just mainly for Looks. They don't really cool, or rather keep anything cool. |

Very cool gift and lots of fun to entertain with. One thing that I didn't realize was that I actually LIKED a bit of dilution with my scotch, but not as much as a glass full of cubes. The solution? Use the soapstone rocks with two or three small ice cubes. The ice cubes add the benefit of helping the "rocks" to roll in the glass a bit-a perfect combination! |

LOVE 'em for keeping my coffee hot and my veggie juice icy cold (nothing worse than watered down veggie juice)! Pleasantly surprised how well these things work. If you're using delicate or fragile glasses, just lower them in gently with a spoon; don't drop 'em in like ice cubes. Or carefully lay them in the bottom before you pour. But great product! (Just wish the other stone products weren't quite so pricey; thus 4 instead of 5 stars) |

I have just about everything for my husband and he has his birthday in June not that long after Father's day. When I gave him this set of Whiskey rocks/coffee stones at first he had no idea what they were. Once he read what it was all about, he had to try them right away in his coffee. He was very pleased with them and has tried them with his scotch as well. I would recommend these as a gift to anyone who has run out of ideas for that person who has "everything" or even as a host gift. |

These are perfect for any liquor "on the rocks" w/o diluting like ice. Anyone who appreciates premium liquors knows that dilution from ice can absolutely ruin their taste. And unlike those cheap plastic ice cubes, the nonporous soapstone doesn't absorb flavors/odors, so all they need is a quick rinse with hot water. I have used them for vodka, rum, bourbon, Irish whiskey, and even mixed drinks, wine, and coffee without ever tasting or smelling a hint of flavors/odors from previous uses. |
